Police have said they have kicked off investigations into the assault on presidential advisor, Jeniffer Nakanguubi, also known as Full Figure by unknown goons.
In a video circulating on social media, the motor-mouth presidential advisor is seen being beaten and kicked by two unidentified men along Kyadondo Road.
In a Sunday statement, Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Patrick Onyango said the incident happened on Friday, August, 29 when Full Figure was intercepted and physically assaulted.
“She alleges that on Friday 29 Aug 25, she was intercepted and assaulted by Justin Nameere, former flag bearer of Masaka district Woman Member of Parliament, and her husband along Kyadondo Road,”Onyango said.
“This incident occurred when Full Figure was heading to a hotel to attend a press conference called by Moses Kalangwa, who contested for the position of CEC central Uganda. The attackers reportedly stole her phone and Shs 500,000.”
Onyango said investigations into the incident have kicked off after Full Figure reported the matter to the Kampala Metropolitan Police headquarters, where her statement was recorded, and witnesses were identified.
“Detectives visited the crime scene and are currently working to track down Nameere and her husband .”
State minister for youths, events promoter Balaam Barugahara condemned the attack and called for swift investigations.
“The individuals who physically assaulted my boss Presidential Assistant Madam Full Figure should face arrest and rehabilitation at Basement Academy. Violence against women is unacceptable and requires immediate attention. Such actions have severe consequences, both physically and emotionally, and undermine the dignity of women in positions of power,” he said.
Full Figure is known for crude attacks on political opponents .
