Kansai Plascon Uganda has officially launched the 14th edition of its flagship consumer promotion, Paint and Win, under the theme “The Colours of Excitement.” The 10-week campaign, running from October 1 to December 11, 2025, was unveiled at the company’s head offices on 2nd Street, Industrial Area, Kampala, in the presence of senior executives, paint dealers, media, and invited guests.

Now in its 14th year, Paint and Win remains a cornerstone of Plascon’s customer engagement and loyalty strategy. The 2025 campaign promises daily and weekly prizes, with a total prize pool exceeding shs3 billion. Every paint purchase worth shs100,000 or more earns customers a scratch card for a chance to win rewards ranging from instant airtime and branded merchandise to larger prizes including cash, motorcycles, and tricycles (tuk-tuks).

Speaking at the launch, Santosh Gumte, Managing Director of Kansai Plascon Uganda, reiterated the company’s commitment to giving back to the community.

“Paint and Win is not just a campaign—it’s a celebration of the loyalty and trust our customers place in us. This year’s Colours of Excitement is about bringing joy and rewarding the people who continue to make us the market leader with a 70% market share,” said Gumte. “Every tin of Plascon paint adds colour and vibrancy to homes, and through this promotion, we want to spread that excitement even further.”

Throughout the campaign, six customers will win shs1 million every day from Monday to Saturday. Weekly televised draws will award lucky participants with a share of shs3 million, or the opportunity to win a brand-new motorcycle and fuel worth shs100,000.

At the campaign’s halfway mark and during the grand finale, winners will also stand a chance to take home fully registered tricycles (tuk-tuks).

In addition, an activation team will travel across nine towns in Uganda, where 10 participants in each location will win motorcycles, complete with helmets and shs100,000 worth of fuel—or its cash equivalent.

Beyond the prizes, Plascon is expanding the campaign’s social impact. This year, the company will refurbish five schools and five health centres selected during the promotion period.

“We believe our biggest win is the positive change we leave in our communities,” said Gumte. “By supporting education and healthcare, we are investing in Uganda’s future. Refurbished classrooms inspire young learners, and revitalised health centres offer comfort to patients and pride to healthcare workers.”

Moses Kato, Plascon’s Head of Sales, emphasized the role of Paint and Win in strengthening bonds with dealers and consumers alike.

“This campaign is a key pillar of our engagement strategy. Every year, we make it more exciting, more rewarding, and more impactful. It’s not just about colour—it’s about building a stronger connection with every person who chooses Plascon,” Kato said.

As the market leader in Uganda’s paint industry, Kansai Plascon continues to build on its legacy of innovation, customer loyalty, and community investment. The Colours of Excitement edition reinforces the brand’s ongoing mission to enrich lives—one brushstroke at a time.
