The highly anticipated third season of Crossroads, Uganda’s hit telenovela, premieres tonight at 8:00 PM on Pearl Magic Prime (DStv Channel 148, GOtv Channel 303), with an extensive lineup of over 204 episodes.
Produced by celebrated filmmaker Steven Ayeny, the new season picks up after the dramatic events of Season 2, where viewers witnessed the shocking death of Ezra in a high-stakes standoff.
Season 3 promises even more intensity, diving into a world where betrayal, revenge, and shifting alliances drive every character’s next move.
According to MultiChoice Uganda, viewers can expect a gripping emotional rollercoaster.
“Crossroads is more than just a show. It’s layered with emotion, ambition, and the rawness of human relationships,” said Margaret Mathore, Head of Channels at M-Net East Africa. “Season 3 is our boldest yet, and we’re proud to continue delivering premium local content that resonates deeply with our audiences.”
At the center of the story is Kwezi Karungi, now widowed and thrust into leadership as the reluctant heir to WANDA TV. As she fights to protect her late husband’s legacy, threats from all directions emerge—including Abby’s ruthless vendetta, Herbert’s strategic power moves, and the mysterious return of Delilah “Didi” Luwandagga.
“Crossroads has become a cultural phenomenon, sparking daily conversations both online and offline,” said Rinaldi Jamugisa, PR and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda. “This season, we’re not just telling a story. We’re reigniting the 8PM prime-time slot with a show that’s bigger, bolder, and more emotionally charged than ever.”
Show creator Steven Ayeny promised an unforgettable season:
“We’ve taken everything our audience loves—the drama, suspense, and emotional depth—and turned it up several notches,” Ayeny said. “Season 3 is about revenge, legacy, and the cost of power. It’s a story that will grip you from the first episode to the last.”
Award-winning singer and actress Cindy Sanyu reprises her powerful role as Didi Luwandagga.
“Acting in Crossroads has been a thrilling challenge. Didi is fierce, flawed, fearless, and I love that. She’s the kind of woman who walks into a room and changes the temperature,” Cindy said. “I’m excited for viewers to see just how far she’s willing to go this season.”
Season 3 also features a stellar Ugandan cast including Iradukunda Rebecca Hope, Nicole Estella, Hellen Lukoma, Michael Wawuyo Sr., Yasin Lubowa, and Emmanuel Atuhaire.
The series is part of Pearl Magic Prime’s ongoing commitment to elevate Ugandan storytelling and provide audiences with compelling, homegrown entertainment.
