President Museveni has dropped Gen Wilson Mbasu Mbadi as the Chief of Defence Forces in the latest changes .
The changes announced on Thursday evening saw Mbadi appointed as the new state minister for trade, industry and cooperatives in charge of trade.
The commander in chef is yet to announce the new CDF.
Mbadi was in June 2021 appointed as the Chief of Defence Forces to replace Gen David Muhoozi.
He became the ninth commander of the UPDF but the second from Kasese after Maj Gen James Kazini .
