President Museveni will, starting Tuesday, March , 18 hit the ground running in Bunyoro sub-region to assess the performance of the Parish Development Model program in the area.
According to State House, the president will visit selected PDM beneficiaries and model farmers as part of the assessment tour.
“The president will also meet stakeholders including various categories of leaders, have an engagement with the media and address a public rally,” State House said.
The president has previously visited Bukedi, Bugisu, Busoga, Acholi, Lango, Karamoja, Ankole, Kigezi and Teso among other areas as part of the Parish Development Model assessment tour.
Whereas in most areas he has been impressed by the performance of the program, in some areas he has called for more efforts to ensure success of the program.
