President Museveni has received Letters of Credence from six newly appointed ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Uganda during a ceremony held at State House Entebbe.
The diplomats who formally presented their credentials include Ahmed Mohammed Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Zweidi of Qatar, Juan Humberto Macìas Pino of Cuba, Seddiki Nafaa of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Gideon Behar of Israel, Jaime Moreno Bau of Spain, and Màrio De Azevedo Constantino of Angola.
During the ceremony, President Museveni welcomed the envoys and reaffirmed Uganda’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations with their respective countries. He underscored the importance of expanding cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, technology transfer, education and regional stability.
The President noted that Uganda remains open to partnerships that advance value addition, economic transformation and shared prosperity. He emphasised the government’s readiness to work closely with diplomatic missions to strengthen mutually beneficial ties.
President Museveni wished the ambassadors successful tenures in Uganda and assured them of the government’s full support in carrying out their diplomatic responsibilities.
