For an agency only six years old, Zeus The Agency has quickly established itself as a cultural force in East Africa’s marketing and creative space.
Its approach goes beyond campaigns to shaping conversations, building influence, and redefining what African creativity can achieve.
“As we celebrate six years, these awards represent more than recognition. They symbolize our belief in African creativity and the possibilities ahead. Our wins in Uganda and Kenya show that when strategy meets imagination and culture meets bold execution, great things happen,” said Jeff Amani, CEO of Zeus The Agency
“We are not just creating campaigns; we are shaping conversations, building influence, and helping rewrite the future of marketing on our continent.”
At the UMEA Awards 2025 in Kampala, Zeus was named Advertising Campaign of the Year for its “I am Streetwise” campaign for KFC Uganda.
The campaign resonated because it captured the real-life experiences and confidence of today’s youth. It didn’t just speak to its audience—it spoke with them.
Beyond accolades, Zeus has positioned itself as a thought leader. During the awards, Amani delivered the State of Marketing Address, exploring the evolution of creative intelligence, the growing role of data-led strategy, and the responsibility of African agencies in global brand-building.
The agency’s influence spans borders. In Kenya, Zeus was named Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Agency of the Year at the Marketing World Awards, recognized for its ability to deliver cohesive, multi-platform campaigns that blend creativity, technology, culture, and measurable impact.
“This isn’t about age, it’s about appetite,” Amani said. “Six years is not a finish line; it’s a proving ground. Long enough to be tested. Short enough to stay dangerous.”
From its beginnings as a bold startup to a regional creative leader, Zeus The Agency has spent six years proving that African creativity, when rooted in culture and powered by strategy, can influence markets, connect communities, and inspire the next generation of marketers.
