Apostle Lubega of Phaneroo Ministries International has said they are set to construct a new a church building valued at $55 million (approximately Shs200 billion).
“We are planning to build a $55m building and I’m not borrowing. I am Abraham’s son. Between now and how it will manifest, I know there’s a young man in the industry saying God, I want to give a million dollar on that. He doesn’t have a job but he has the heart. That’s the one I’m looking for,” Lubega said.
The announcement has received mixed reactions from members of the public
Founded in 2014 by Apostle Grace Lubega, Phaneroo Ministries International has evolved from a small fellowship of believers into a movement that attracts thousands weekly.
The ministry’s flagship event, the weekly Phaneroo Fellowship, is held every Thursday at Naguru.
Last year, Phaneroo celebrated 10 years of service.
